3 Steps to Ensure Your Safety When an Animal Is On Your Property

The first thing to do is take a breath, and relax. Normal wildlife (healthy wildlife) have a natural fear of humans and just like humans would, wildlife will defend themselves, and their offspring.

So here’s what you should do:

1. Remove Family Members From the Danger Location – Make sure your family is in a safe part of the house so that the animal cannot get to them.

2. Isolate the Animal – If you can, confine the animal into one room and close all of the windows and doors. Close the doors tightly and be sure to put a towel at the bottom of the door as well.

3. Assess your family members for any possible contact whether there are any bites or scratches. If anyone in your family has been bit or scratched, you should seek medical attention.

Hi, my name is David Dilworth, owner of Chaos Wildlife Control.

If you are in distress and have an animal in your home, the next step is to give a Wildlife Professional a call. You can call us at (914) 618-5552 or fill out the form, or if you’re still unsure of which company to pick, make sure you watch our video, “The 3 Guarantees You Must Demand From Your Wildlife Control Company.” Thanks for watching, and stay safe.
